Legal Information

Please refer to the cu@workTM Application and Agreement form for complete terms and conditions of use on this system.

cu@workTM Agreement Highlights

Security

We make every effort to ensure your online security when using cu@workTM. You are solely responsible for safeguarding and keeping secret your Personal Access Code (PAC) and log in identity, so please take steps to protect both. If your PAC becomes known to another person, you must notify us immediately in writing. You are liable for all unauthorized use of the PAC until such notification is made and acknowledged by us in writing. For security reasons, we recommend you change your PAC on a regular basis. We also encourage you to use up-to-date firewalls and antivirus and anti-spyware software.

Accuracy

Ensuring that the transaction information you send us through cu@workTM is accurate is your responsibility. Please check any transaction request carefully before confirming its transit.

Accounts with more than one signature

The authorized signing authorities for the organization are required to provide the appropriate authorization for use of cu@workTM. Prior written authorizations from all signers associated with a joint account are required to use cu@workTM with an account with more than one authorization signature.

Joint accounts

Each holder of a joint account is jointly liable for all transactions conducted using cu@workTM. This system supports multiple signing authorities and appropriate approvals must be set up to enforce multiple signatures on the accounts.

Availability

From time to time, cu@workTM may be unexpectedly unavailable due to technical or other circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any delay, loss, or inconvenience arising from these situations.

Account management

You will not conduct any transactions that would result in a negative balance in any of your accounts or would exceed any of your credit limits. Should this occur, our normal fees will apply. Please be aware that payments, cheques and other transactions may be subject to standard processing timelines and plan your transactions accordingly.

Service fees

All applicable service fees will be deducted from your account. Service fees are subject to change at any time without notice. Service fees will be deducted from the account designated on the forms. If there are not sufficient funds in that account, Assiniboine Credit Union may deduct the charges from any of the accounts

Transaction verification

We make every effort to verify that transaction instructions are followed accurately, and we encourage you to check your transaction records carefully. If you believe we have made an error or omission, you must provide us with written notice in a timely fashion. If we have made an error or omission, our liability is limited to the amount of the error or omission in recording, plus any applicable service charges that may have been charged.

Changes to the agreement

The terms and conditions of this Agreement may change from time to time. We will inform you by mailing notice that changes have been made and where you can obtain a copy of the changes or the revised Agreement. Should you use cu@workTM after the changed date, any of these changes will apply to you.
